The following advance notice was received today from Congressman Lin Had ley: "As in the past. I am distributing the seed allotted to the Second Con gressional District mainly through | the newspapers in the District, in [order to more nearly insure that the jseed will reach individuals who will plant it. Shortly after the receipt of this letter, you should receive a sup ply of garden seed, and I would ap preciate your cooperation as hereto [fore. Congress has materially re duced the appropriation for congres sloiial seed distribution and, there fore, the supply I am sending is nec essarily somewhat less than usual. Owing to the limited amount of flow er seed available under the appropri ation, it is impracticable to distrib ute it through the newspapers, as re quests coming directly to this office will no doubt absorb the limited sup ply of flower seed to the credit of the Second District. Thanking you in advance for any assistance you may render in this matter. I am Yours very truly, Lin H. Hadley" BABY CHICKS MAKE LONG TRIP j FROM CALIFORNIArTO LYNDEN j !
