of the Southwestern Section of the
American Mathematical Society,
which will be held at Lawrence, Kan-,
Friday and Saturday. The program
consists of papers by professors from
seven universities and several smaller
schools: Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebras
ka, Washington, Colorado, Washburn,
William Jewell, Baker, K. S. A. C,
Texas and Rice.

-plans for a membership campaign to
be conducted from now until the first
of the new year. Each member has
pledged herself to obtain at least one
