I alleging among- other things,
i that the defendant, Laura Lind
say, is not a resident of the
'State of Missouri, andean not be
served with .process in this state,
whereupon it is ordered by the
clerk of said court; that eaid de
fendant be notified by publica
tion that plaintiff has commenced
suit against him in this court,
the object and nature of- whicn
is to obtain a decree of divorce
from the bonds of matrimony
contracted between plaintiff and
defendant, by petition in tha
Cape Girardeau Court of Com
mon Fleas, of Cape Girardeau
County, Missouri ; and that unless
said defendant, Laura Lindsay,
be and appear at the next term
of the Cape Girardeau Court of
Common Fleas, to be holdtn at
the court house in the city of
Cape Girardeau, in said county,
on the 23rd day of February
1914, and on or before the third
day thereof, if the term shall so
long continue, if not, then before
the end of the term, answer or
plead to the petition in said,
cause, the same will be taken as
confessed and judgment will be
rendered accordingly.
And it is further ordered that
a copy hereof be published in
the Cace County Herald, a news
paper published in the county of
Cape Giiardeau, Missouri, fcr
four weeks successively, the last
insertion to be at least fifteen
days before the first day of the
next term of this court.
