Washington, Oct. 20.—Possibilities of jHuerta's immediate retirement •,commanded the foremost attention'in ihe Mexican situation today. Admin istration officials are awaiting advices from Mexico. Reports of Huerta's impending re tirement, runtore of death plots against Felix Diaz and the attitude of the foreign governments which have already recognized Iluerta, and some of which are regarded as sympathetic with the United States, further com plicated the situation.
