Grime, J. B. Lehm, H. V. How land, Oscar Wilson, C. P. Merill, R. A. Risa, J. P. Gleason, J. A. Boyle, H. K, Stone, L. W. Clark, H. A. Davidson, G. B. Glade, J. B. Forsberg, D. M. Mcln tyre and D. T. Johnson, all of Fargo were business visitors in Valley City yesterday. On Monday morning the office of the Times Record will be changed from the present location to the building east of the telephone office on Fourth street. Anyone having business will please call there and any telephone calls will be the same, No. 4, Mystery still surrounds the disap pearance of John Andrews of Fargo who suddenly disappeared from Fargo about two weeks ago. This is the same man who felt the heavy hand of Theo dore Roosevelt when he attempted to interrupt his speech five years ago. People from various parts of the I state in Valley City today are J- C. Le Bean of Grand Forks, A. E. Morgan of Carrington, C. R. Trains of Mayville, W. E. Parsons and J. W. Blis of Bis marck and P. A. Berg of Dickinson. Friends of Mrs. Fred Reum of De corah, la., who before her marriage was Miss Frances Portman, critic in the Model School here, will be inter ested to know that a baby boy was born to them last Friday, March 6. The Lang children who have been confined to their home with the chick enpox are back at school again. Aleck Algeo was a caller in Dazey Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Otto were Dazey shoppers Thursday. R. J. Aigeo drove to Valley City Thursday, returning home Friday. Paul Lang was seen in town Friday. MARSH TOWNSHIP. Mr. and Mrs. Terrence Pederson, were given a rousing charivari by a number of their neighbors recently and those who took part declare they had the best time ever and think Mr. and Mrs. Pederson a splendid host and hostess. A gcod sized crowd of young people some from this neighborhood and a few from Valley iCty together with a largp representation from the Shey enne valley, took possession of the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Brown on Saturday evening of last week. Danc ing was indulged in until the early morning. Mrs. Brown served a delic ious lunch to her guests at the mid night hour. Several of our farmers attended the Larson auction on Getchell Prairie Wednesday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Brown and fam ily moved to the LaTson farm on Get chell Prairie last Saturday where they will make their home the coming sea son. (Mr. and 'Mrs. Brown have resid ed in this community for the past six years and they have many friends here who regret to see them leave Miss Holda Benson is helping Mi a. Herman Anderson with her spring sewing. An Equity society has 'been organ ized among the fanners of this town ship. The Farmer's Club met at the home Mrs. Wold and family last Thurs day. A fair sized crowd was present and it was one of our best meetings to judge from the ipterest manifested. A sumptuous lunch at the conclusion of the meeting was served. Our next meeting will be held on March 26th at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Stem hagenw Everybody welcome. School opened in the Dist. No. 3 school house last Monday with Miss Theresa Wcoland as teacher. Only two pupils were present t!he first day •but we hope there will be several more coming by another week.
