fected the capture of two much
wanted counterfeiters, seizing
their plant, including dies, cruci
bles, metal and a quantity of spu
rious $5 pieces, and silver dol
lars in a house on Twenty Third
avenue south San Francisco.
A complete confession was se
cured from the two badly scared
men who were caught, and the
secret service men are not on the
trail of the third, who is known
to be in hiding in the city. All
three of the counterfeiters are

Rose, one of the proprietors of a
barber shop, aged 25 years, and
James T. Soucas. a Southern Pa
cific railway employe, aged 29.
