It developes not tlie body only, but the mind. T^ie Alpine Peaks of Switzerland have tlieir counterpart in our own country, in the Sierras, the Cas cades, and parts of the Rockies. The greatest glacial peak of the United States is Mt. Ranier in Washington, more than 15,500 feet high. This magnificent mountain has 15 or more giant glaciers creeping down its sides and discharging their glacial de tritus into the Columbia river or Fuget Sound.
