Members of the order will please take notice. Lincoln Mine Tent of the Modern Maccabees held a review Tuesday evening, at which meeting a class of thirty-three candidates was init iated. The initiatory ceremony is said to have been quite realistic, as the goat was very much alive and in first-class condition, The next meeting of the tent will be on Dec. 22d, when another large class will be inducted into the mysteries of the order. I A Fine Program Rendered, The song service at the Presbyter ian church Sunday evening attract ed a large audience, a very fine pro gram being rendered. Prof. Mayo gave two vocal solos, Misses O'Meara and Grannis sang a duet, the male quartet appeared in two selections, and the choir filled out the balance of the evening. Both Were Somewhat Damaged. The Great Northern passenger on Saturday morning found a North ern Lumber Co. tfain disputing the right of way at the crossing west of Mt. Iron. A very pretty little wedding took place in the Catholic Church of this city at 7:00 o'clock Wednesday morn ing, Nov. 25th, when Miss Maggie Driscoll, Of Iron wood, Mich., was married to Mr. John Kehoe, of Vir ginia. The happy couple are well known to a large number of people on this range and are much esteem ed by all. Miss Driscoll was one of Ironwood'8 most popular young ladies. She has visited relatives on this range time and again and has -iftade many true and lasting friends, while the groom, Mr. Kehoe, is one of Virginia's most prominent young railroad men. The wedding was a quiet affair only the immediate friends of the I contracting parties being present 1 After the ceremony the bridal party went to the Pettit, where a sumptu ous wedding breakfast was served at the home of P. DriscolJ, a brother of the bride. Among those present were Mrs. T. P. Butler, Mrs. F. It is reported that some of the young ladies of the city are con templating the organization of a new society to be known as the "Gi T. M. A" The report further states that it will be somewhat similar to the "Come Home, Husband" club, which is about four feet long with a brush on ot^e end, and there-is prospect that some of the young swains will be compelled to dance to the tune of "Come to my arms" sting in short meter time.
