L. Lamberson, the .subject of this
sketch, was horn at Grafton. Ozau
kee Co., Wis. After completing- his
school course he entered a mercantile
establishment at Nashua, Iowa.
From there he went to West Union, under the city organization, and
same state, engaging in the mercau- held that office two terms. Was
tile business for himself. In 1888 he treasurer of the Warren Independent
moved to Perham, Minn., where he (School District during a long series
engaged in the banking business, of years.
Mr. Lamberson came to Warren in Mr. Laniberson was married to
B. B. NELSCN, CCI NTV AUDITOR.
1884 and opened a bank, the Bank
of Warren, of which institution he
has sines been one of the owners, and
sole manager, up to the present time.,
He was the first mayor of the city

Came to America in 1879 and to
Warren in 1881. He has served as
assistant postmaster, and has at
various times held the offices of
alderman, city recorder ami mayor.
Was engaged in the real estate, loan
and insurance business for a time.
When the State Bank was organized

he served as eashierabouttwo years..
Since 1895 he has been the manager
of The People's Trading Co. Mr.
Ostrom, since he came to Warren,,
has been, and is now, largely inter
ested in farming, owning several fine
farms near th city. He is an enter
prising and public-spirited man.
