Th total allotment for this township is 11,846.00, which is larger than any previous loan, but it is believed that as before New Solum will "Go Over the Top" and everybody is asked to cheerfully subscribe his or her amount. In connection with this is planned also to have this a Re Cross ,day, and the lady folks will bring to' the gathering place' various refresh ments and~~ coffee which will be sold through the day and the total proceeds therefrom will be turned over to the Red Cross. Although this is a busy season, this day has been set aside, and the people asked to refrain from their manual duties, and to make it a general "get together" day for the w.hole township.
