JUSwhich 1 VVC ROSEWOOD Victor and Dave Mosbeck, who have for the last three years been operating the Mrs Styrlund farm northwest of town, have released away their remain ing two years to Mr. Ted Thompson and will leave by October 1st for Wylie where they own a farm which they will commence operating by next year. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson, who recently moved into this community, will move their personalities to this farm at once and will commence to plow and look after the general fall work about the place. The Axelson family have as their guests this week Mrs. Axelson's par ents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Jacobsou, of Montangel, Oregon, and Mr. and Mrs.from Ole Olson and daughter, Gladys of Wannaska, this state, Mrs. Olson being a sister to Mrs. Axelson. The Jacob son's, who have been engaged in farm ing pursuits in Oregon for several years, have sold their land and are here on, a business and visiting stay to look after their real estate in northern Minnesota and will probably remain until colder weather induces them to return to the coast. The churches, Sunday, September 5: Forenoon services at the Congregation al church in town at 10:30 by Rev. Werner Drotts, of Viking. Afternoon service and in connection the monthly meeting of the Rindal Young Peoples' Society at the Rindal church north of town at 2:30. Lunch will he served at the close. Rev. Geo. Larson of Thief River Falls will conduct both the ser vice and speak to the Young Peoples Society. Evening services at 8 p. m. at the church in town with Rev. W. Drotts in the pulpit. The public is cordially invited, only the Scandinavian language will be used. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Vorseth and daughter, Elsie, upon returning from their Iowa trip, were in town briefly on Saturday and Sunday to look after business interests here and call on friends. Several small girls from the Rev. G. Larson and A. B. Remmem families from Thief River Falls, are guests this week with Miss Myrtle Mellem. Olga and Esther Thoreson accom panied by their cousin, Miss Thoreson, were between train visitors at Thief River Falls last Thursday. Miss Tena Westby returned home Goodridge last Monday, where she has spent a week visiting with her brother. Miss Ella Nelson, who has been stay ing at her sister's, Mrs. Ole Skaar's place in Norden the last two weeks, re turned home on Tuesday. Mrs. Chas. Sagmoen and children, Byron and Borden, from Norden, were Monday afternoon visitors at the Emil Blomberg home. Mrs. E. P. Johnson and Ingrid Nord hagen are reported ill this week. Mr. and Mrs. S. Benson and sons, Marven and Garfield, from Thief River Falls, were in town on Friday after noon visiting with the Sagmoen rela tions. Herbert Carlson, John Sorenson, Car rie Nelson and Gena Oos spent Sunday on an auto tour to St. Hilaire. B. P. Sagmoen has been at Anita this week doing harvest work. Mission Church of Viking and Rose wood. Services will be held in Rosewood next Sunday at 11 a. m. and 8 p. m. We expect the choir of Viking to be present and sing at the evening ser vices.
