Miss Addic Daly is a most estimable and
highly respected young lady who lives with
her father, Joseph B. Daly, at No. 699 Preble
street, but Miss Daly is a victim to one of
those unhappy coincidences or malicious de
signs to which any exemplary young lady
may be eiposeM. On Monday night two
'^beautiful but frail girls" were found on the
street gloriously drunk, and were taken to
the city hall, where they {rave the names of
Georgie Field and Addle Daly, and of course
the names got into the papers, As Miss Daly
of Preble street is the only Addie Daly in the
city her relatives feel naturally much indig
nation that her name should have been sto
len and so polluted and drugged into a police
court. Miss Daly, though beautiful, is not
frail, but the pride of a happy family circle.
