GRAND
OPENING I
To the Public:
We have leased the spacious store, cor. Sev
enth and Minnesota streets, for a term of ten
years, and shall open in a few days for public
inspection a stock of Foreign and Domestic
Fancy Goods. We say, without fear of contra
diction, that we are able to show as fine a line as
was ever displayed west of Chicago, and at prices
as low as the lowest, of which fact you can
convince yourself by looking through our im
mense stock. We intend to make our store do
honor to St. Paul, that it shall be in every way
in keeping with the growth and progress of the
city. We have every facility that pertains to
a large business, a long business experience
and advantage of buying our goods for cash.
We have a large, handsome store, well lighted
in every part, centrally located, and naturally
the best retail street in St. Paul. We mean to
conduct our business with the utmost integrity,
and hold ourselves responsible for every state
ment made in our house. We are confident
that the growth of the city justifies the enter
prise, and it will be our constant aim and effort,
both by diligence and fair dealing, to merit the
confidence of the people. You will always find
lady and gentlemen attendants who will be glad
to show you our goods, whether you buy or
not. Shall be greatly pleased to greet all who
favor us with their presence.
