Description of The corporate
limits of the City of Jasper shatl be
and are hereby extended so as to
include the territory lying adjacent
thereto, and within the boundary

Sec 2 Election Time of.
That at the regular City electiop
to be held on the first Tuesday of
April, 1013. there shall be submit
ted lo the qualified voters of said
city, a proposition to extend the
corporate limits of the City of Jas
per and to establish the boundary
lines thereof, ns in the next pre
ceding section provided.
Sec. 3 Election Notice of
Notice of the election provided for
in this ordinance shall be given by
publication ot this ordinance in the
Jasper News, anewsptperp'ibhs! -ed
in the city of Jasper, Missouri,
once a week for three weeks before
the time provided herein for hold
ing said election And the City
Clerk is charged with the duty of
attending to the giving of notice
as herein provided.
Sec. 4 Judges and Clerks of
election The regular judges and
clerks of the regular city election
to be holden on the first Tuesday
in April. 1913, shall ulso be and
act as judges aud clerks ot the
election hernia provided for.
Sec, 5. Election 'Voting places
Tho election herein ptovided
tor shall be held at the several
places in the respective wards of
said city as shall be designated
and -provided by the Board of
Aldermen for the holding of the I
regular city election to be holden
at the same time.
Sec. 6. Form of ballot The City
Clerk shall prepare and cause to be
printed ballots to be used at such
election which shall be in the fol

taken as a vote assenting to such

Sec. 7. Returns of election,
Casting up results Report and
record of. After the clocing of the
polls, the counting of the ballots,
and the final signing and attesting
of the poll books, the ballots, bal
lot boxes and poll books snail be
returned and delivered by the
judges and clerks of each precinct
to the city clerk, who shall re
ceive and care for same At the next
regular meeting of the Board of
Aldermen after said election, the
tity clerk shall in the presence of
the Board of Aldermen, open said
election returns, and thereupon
the Board of Aldermen shall can
vass ahe vote on said proposition
and determine the result ot said
election and cause the same to be
entered on the minutes of the
meeting. If it be found by such
canvass that said proposition to
extend the corporate limits of the
city of Jasper as herein provided,
shall have received a majority of
the votes cast at said election on
said proposition then the Board
of Alderman choll declare by
