To Buy Silos for Members.
The regular quarterly meeting
of the Jasper County Dairy Asso
ciation was held at the room of
the Carthage R us in ess Men's
League Saturday attcrnoon and
proved of great interest. Some of
the members made formal ad
dresses on timely dairy subjects
Dr. W P. Cutler, of Chicago, 111 ,
formerly dairy commissioner of
Missouri, was present and enliven
ed the occasion with a spirited
talk.
He congratulated the dairymen
of the county on the enterprise
they have shown in starting such
an organization. George L. Thom
as, of Neosho, president of the
Newton Qounty Dairy Association,
spoke informally in a very inter
esting way.
The question of the silos was
given due attention, plans were
discussed for those desiring to
buy silos to club together in mak
