THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN.
What They Did at Their Meeting
The petition from the policemen, asking
to have their salaries raised to $00, what

the board of aldermen last night. The

Mr. W. V. Lowe asked that the West
ern North Carolina railroad be allowed
to use the city water at their vard, and
Superintendent Murray nnd Aldermen

The Mayor and City Clerk Miller were
