The cotton mar ket opened steady at unchanged prices to a decline of 3 points, which was considered rather better than due on the cables. Offerings were light and after the call the market slightly on bull support of months which sent August gain of 8 points. July was advanced the near up a net neglected and later positions sold only 2 gr 3 points over the closing figures of the previous day during-the early session Trading was quiet and buying by local professionals was restricted by appre hensions that the bulls were support ing August for the purpose of making a selling basis for later months.
