ELLESSBUKG, Wash., Ang. 15 Samuel Vinson and his son Charles were lynched here for the murder during a drunken row on Sunday of Mike Kehlopp, a saloon keeper. The ringing of lire bolls was the signal for the crowd to assemble, and within three minutes a mob was batter ing down the doors of tha county jail. It took an hour and a half to overpower the guards and force an entrance to tha jail. Tho victims were walked three blocks to a tree. The elder Vinson was soon strung up. Tiion some one said to Charles Vin son: "Your pa Is up there; go and see him." Tho two men wera hanged to the same limb, their faces six Inches apart. Sheriff Knew What Was Coining-. Kills a Woman ISecante She Will Not Live with Him. Chicago, Aup. 15. Frnnk Sweet, Jani tor, fatally shot Mr. Alice Burr last night, slightly wounded Mrs. J. B. Nich ols, and then put a bullet through his own brain. Sweet was tho brother-in- law of Mrs. Burr, and desired her to come and liva with him. She had left her husband on a former occasion, and had announced her intention of going back to him. Sweet combatted her reso lution and last night visited hor home for the purposo of getting her to leava her husband. She rofusoi and he at once shot her through tho neck. Mrs. Nichols was struck by a bullet which iswoet intended f jr tho husbaud of the woman ho hod fa tally shot.
