HcTcnixsos, Kan., March 2t A sensa tion has been caused at Anthony, Harper county, by the arrest of Mrs. Rodman, William Maddox, ono of the leading men of the county, and a man named Clark, on charges of having murdered the woman's husband, Charles Rodman, on the night of Feb. 13. Rodman was mysteriously as sassinated at his stable door just after he had arrived home from town. The county and stato authorities oQered rewards ag gregating tl, 400 for the conviction of the murderer. Mrs. Rodman has inado a con fession. Her statement is that her hus band had beaten her and so ill-treated her that she finally went to Maddox, a friend of long standing, for advice.
