who waa sentenced last Monday to three
years In Sins Sins; prison for forgery.

This is the crime for which Alonzo J.
Whlteman was tried and acquitted laat
week. Adams, whose right name is
Becker, is an ex-convict, having served
three terms for forgery in Ohio and
Pennsylvania. Hie - resemblance to
Whlteman is remarkable, and his con
fession clears up a mystery that punted
every one connected with the case.
