ous explosion occurred yesterday at a
point on the D., R- I. & N. XV. rail
road about a mile from Carbon
The construction force is blasting

and is using nitroglycerin. A quan
tity of the explosive was placed near

ignited and exploded with a concus
sion that was felt for a mile or more.
