Alderman Kennedy moved that the
City Clerk be instructed to notify the
Moline Stone Co. to cease trespassing
upon the streets and alleys of the city.
Alderman Anderson moved that the
City Attorney be instructed to notify
the Moline. Stone Co. to erect a sub
stantial fence in the alley beside its
quarry near the Lancashire-Marshall
Organ Co. Carried.

the ordinance granting the Central Un
ion Telephone Co. the right to erect
jmles and wires in tlie streets and al
leys of the city. Alderman Eckhart
moved the consideration of the ordin
ance. Alderman Kennedy moved as a sub
stitute that the ordinance be lad over
