The clerk read the call for. the special meeting, which was for the purpose of insecting the Fifteenth street paving and transacting such other business as might properly come before the meeting. The clerk read a petition from Channon, Perry & Co., for sewer and water connections, for .1. O. Freed, K. T. Beck, V. T. Boggess, all on Sev enteenth street, between Ninth and Tenth av,enues; also for Carl Koehow, on FoiirLh avenue and Twelfth street. Aid.1' Benson moved that the petition be referred to the sewer committee with power to act. Carried. Alck Blochlinger moved that the council take a recess to inspect the Fifteenth street paving.
