"The New Fast Mail," by Lincoln J

chief features of the play. The story
tells the following: Walter West, in

an old Italian, who substitutes his own
child later on. This latter child is
brought up as Hiram Martin's off
spring, and turns out to be a thor

Knighthood Was In Flower." Miss
Knott placed herself well in the good
graces of Rock Island theatregoers
last season with her exceptionally
fine interpretation of the title role of
"A Modern Magdalen.". Her portrayal
of that role was one of the best
thing-s of the season. While the role
of Mary Tudor gives her dramatic op
portunities of a nature varying widely
from the other part, yet it is certain
she is equal to the. demands, and Hock
Island playgoers will be glad to sec
her in this more pleasing play.
