A new Rock Island camp was added lo the already long list of Modern Woodmen camps Monday when a charter was formally given to Camp 13,443, which will be known as the Boosters' camp of this city. This is the fifth camp in Rock Island, and as every one of them is growing at a rap id rate another camp will probably be added in the course of the next two or three years. The new camp lias been iu the course of organization for the past two months or so, and it is composed principally of business and professional men. There are 57 char ter members of the camp, three of tfteni being social members and the rest beueficlal membei-. The degree team of Camp 20, in charge of Captain S. R. Davis, had charge of the initia tory ceremonies, which were held at the K. of C. hall. A program of sneak ing was held and talks were made by. Dr. J. A. Rutledge. the newly elected director from this state; Hon. J. F. Harris, city supervising deputy of Chicago;-Dr. E. L. 'Kerns of the chief medical board, and Major C.W.
