The necessity for a play ground and athletic park for the Rock Island high school is becoming more evident every day. Since the establishment of the Manual Arts building across the street from the school, the pupils have been without adequate grounds for recreation purposes. The suggestion has been made that Long View park be used, but of course it would be Impossible to put up bleachers there.
