When the news of the butchery at Barnwell

was the matter. Arriving at the door, she
was seized and dragged away from the house
and subjected to a most brutal flogging. The
lynchers were in masculine attire, and wore

tortures than those of which you see the
evidences in the face of a rheumatic or
neuralgic sufferer The agonies arc the
consequence of not checking a rheumatic

tetter's Stomach Bitters has been found
by skillful medical practitioners to pos

tendency to them is exhibited. Surely
this puissant but safe botanic medicine,
bearing, too, such high specific sanction,
is better than the poisons often employed,

but in isolated doses. The blood is de

which likewise exhibits marked efficacy
for malaria, kidney complaints, dyspep

The best medical writers claim that the
successful remedy for nasal catarrh must
be non -irritating, easy of application, and
one that will reach all the remote sores
and ulcerated surfaces. The history of
the efforts to treat catarrh during the
past obliges us to admit that only one
remedy has met these conditions, and
that is Ely's Cream Balm. This pleas
ant remedy has mastered catarrh as noth
ing else has ever done, and both physi
cians and patients freely concede this
fact. The more distressing symptoms
yield to it.
