ity of Hull, across the Ottawa river from

graceful riots ever chronicled in Canada. A
sinail band of Protestant Evangelists from
Ottawa MWM attacked by a howling mob of
nearly 1,000 Freuch-Canadians, who were
armeil with revolvers, shotgun, sticks and

seriously. It appears that the Kvangelists,
one twenty in number, including four or
five ladies, some time ago announced that
they would hold Evangelical services in
Hull, which is inhabited almost entirely by
French Roman Catholics. They were
