One of the ro.ist important ra-sns deoiil.Mi by tht; supreme court in many years was that of Weiss against the Edgerton district school board. The case was tried in the cto. cuit court for Rock county, which over ruled the demurrer of the Romnu 'atholics to the answer of the school board. Koman Catholica Victorioaa, The action of the circuit court is now in turn overruled by the state supreme i-ourt, thus giving a victory to the Roman Catho- ie, and declaring that the reading of the Bible in the public schools in unconstitu- ional.
