There is no reason whatever why the
stage or the novel should have a monop
oly in realism either. The daily press
might just as well have its share of glory
in this field. For instance, the other
day a young woman fell from a second
story window, and her garments catch
ing on a nail left her Bunnended, head
downward. Ordinarily the. chronicler

statement of facts, but the proper mod
ern way would be something like this:
