As he passed under the railroad suspen

his body well out. Just below the bridge
he struck some lHrge breakers, and was
out of sight for an instant. As he came in
sight he was within a few feet of a larg
rock, against which he was flashed, badly
bruising and cutting his left knee and
hurling his foot. Hut ho passed over all
right, and could be seen swimming a good
strcke. His effort to keep away from the
rocks had used up a gnod deal of strength
and, finding he could not get out into the
river, he swam to shore, and was helped
out on the rocks, having Im in the water

grounds. Immediately in the rear, with
pretty little grounds of its own, is the
cutest miniature cottage that ever a child
played in. This is, if anything, more
elaborately fitted up than the I'arke cot
tage proper. It is the intention to turn
this play-house over to the tender mer

everything to delight his infantile fancy."

A Woman's Discovery.
"Another wonderful discovery has
been made, and that, too, by a lady in
this country. Disease fastened its
clutches upon her and for seven years she
withstood its severesta tests, but her vital
organs were undermined and death
seemed imminent. For three months she
coughed incessantly and could not sleep.
She bought of us a bottle of Dr. King's
New Discovery for consumption and was
so much relieved on taking the first dose
that she slept all night, and with one
bottle has been miraculously cured. Her
name is Mrs. Luther Lutz." Thus write
