Just as hundreds of excursionists from Long Island resorts had filled the lower part of Ferry street, Long Island City, on their way to the Thirty-fourth Street ferry, about 8:30 o'clock Sunday night, a horse attached to a large covered delivery-wagon dashed among them, having run down the street at a terrific pace. The wagon upset and the occupants, three men, a woman and five children, were thrown out. Three of the children fell under the wagon and one of them, Charles Antoni, 9 years old, was fatally injured, his head having struck a horse car rail. -All the Occupant Injured. Those who were in the wagon and were Injured were: Eugene Arnold, rilw broken and ear cut off; Henry Stoll, 16 years old, both arms broken; Theresa An toni, left arm brokeu; Charles Antoni, head crushed and face split open, fatally wounded; Mrs. Antoni, cut about the bead. Tbe others escaped with slight bruises. The party was taken to the Sec ond Precinct station house.
