Babstow, May 4. Mrs. Eunice Mill,
wile of James Mil!, of Bsratow, III., was
the second daughter of Mrs.YVeatberhead,
who was the wife of the late Albert Wells,
cf mm;. ton township, who died in the
year 1847. Mrs. Wells was afterward
married to the late Ira Weatherbead, who
died in 1878. Mrs. Mill was born on the
old horn tead sear Cleveland Ferry in
ih's county, August 8. 1841; died May 1.

Miss Eunice Wells was married to Frank
lin S. Merritt, November 2. 1859. who
was an crderly sereeant in Company F,
Eiebtj-t inth IlHnoii regiment, Illinois
volunteers, was taken a prisoner and
died in Anderson prison in 1863. One
child wii born to them, Georee 8. Mer
ritt, who lives at Brstow. On May 8.
1869 Mr. Merritt was married to James
Mill. Tlieir issue was one child, Mies
Jennie Mill-Dempsey, of Rock Island.
