of the M. E Church Extension society by
a vote of 383 to 303 for the present sec
retary. At the rug sale this morning Clemann

partment was completely crowded. They
expect another large shipment Monday.
The stag ornament in Spencer square
was taken down this morning and sent to
New Tork for repairs. The city ought to
do something about illuminating the

Mrs. Fowler, of this city, was married
last January to her sixth husband, and
strange as it may seem, five of them died
exactly two years from their marriage
day. Her present husband has been sick
