A constitution was adopted providing
that the organization sba'l be known as
tbe Moline Hospital association; its ob
ject to raifc funds to furnish and tquip
in whole, or in part, the proposed public
hospital. All persons or societies con
tributing to the funds of the association
shall be entitled to representation therein.
The membership is to include not more
than four representations from any
church or society sending representatives.
Meetings are to be held on call of tbe

a series of entertainments for tbe purpose
of securing money for the proposed

board, appointed by Mayor Weasel and
the city council in July, held their first
meeting the same afternoon. In draw-,

serve, as provided by law. Dr. W.K Sloan
drew the three year, W. B. Ullman the
two-year and Dr. A. H. Arp tne one-year

on Monday. Oct. 3, to consider proposi
tions for the purchase of a site for the
hospital, and for donations for the same.
