III, Hoy. 14, 1893 The council met in
adjourned session at 3 p. m , Mayor
McCohocbie presiding and all the alder
men present. The mituies of the pre
vious meeting were read and approved.
Aid. Knox, from the finance commit
tee, reported that a sufficient sum from
special assessment on the Seventeenth
street sewtr had been paid to the city
collector to pay tbe balance due the con
tractor, and tberefore moved that M.
Yerbury be nllowed $313 45 vet due.

lowed by unanimous vote.
Ald.Corkcn. :r, ra the fire and light
commitue, recommended that over
coats be procured for tbe firemen for the
coming winter, the same to be nccounleti

one story frame, covered with sheet iron
in the rar of their premises on Second

mittee reported an ordinance establish
