American Republics is informed that Mr.
J. C. Gibney, of Indianapolis, and five oth
ers will sail from Xew York April 2 for
Colombia, to take charge of and build the
Bogota and Girardot railroad under a con
cession that was granted by the Colombian
government to parties from Pittsburg,
ludiauapolis, and Chicago.
Two Reports About This.
Atlanta, Ga., April 14. J. W. Price,
a highly respected citizen of Oconee coun
ty, Ga., shot and killed a negro woman in
his employ. One report says he did it be
cause she insulted his wife and another is
that the shooting was accidental.
