Last year, Fred, the 10-year-old
son of J. B. Hall, of Clinton was
drowned off the steamer Everett near
the mouth of the Wapsie, while out
with others on an excursion. A few
days ago a portion of the remains,
after a year in the water, was found

The heart broken parents came down
from Clinton and took possession of
them ami they were interred. It is
not likely that the other portion of
the poor boy's body will ever be laid
to rest in the same rrave.
