A Light That Will Never Go Out
A thirty-six candle-pwer light
which will never go out has been
discovered by an inventor in
London. While experimenting
with photographic ch em i ca h
some years ago Magra d's atten
tion waa attracted by a glow ir
a small globe, caused by a chem
ical compound. Magrady en
larged the glow and perfected
the light by placing it in an air
tight glass. He says there it
no reason why the light wil
not remain brilliant forever, i:
the glass is not broken. A com
pany has been formed to manu
facture the light.

A meeting was held Feb. 18th,
1905 when tho following agree
ment was entered into for the keep
ing up and protection of said prop
erty, viz-That in no case is this a
public burying ground, no one be
ing allowed to use it for Buoh out
side of the family, except by per
mission of thc Trustees, and that
each family interested is required
to contribute not less than 50cls
annually to raise a sufficient fund
to keep same in first class condition.
Work to be done by contract at the
lowest bid and same to be accepted
and approved by thc Board of
Trustees, and all persons failing to
comply with this agreement are
hereby debared from the usc of this
plat of ground as a Burying
Ground.

Town ot Bennettsville at a meeting held I
this day adopted the following rule and 1
regulation in reference to the Public
health ol the town, and especially to pre
vent the spread of small pox.
That on and after this date all per
sons or persons living on the lands ot
the Bennettsville Manufacturing Com
pany where small pox is now preval
ent are prohibited from coming within
1 the limits o' the Town of Bennettsville
except such as are immuned !>y having
had the disease or by not having been
exposed lo the same and that such im
mune persons may be privileged to come |
into the Town by showing a certificate
Irom the chairman of the Board ol
Health that they are immune and that
this rule and regulation be rigidly en
forced by the Town, It is further recom
mended that the Town Council will cm
body this rule and regulation in a Town
Ordinance.

customers for Hacks, Hotels. Boarding
Houses or any other purpose in the
Town ol Bennettsville at the Railroad
stations within the Town limits are
hereby prohibited jrom entering thc
Cars or soliciting such customers within
a line fifteen feet from Railroad running
parallel with the said Railroad. Any
violation of this Ordinance shall be pun
ishable by a fine ot not more than twen
ty live dollars, or thirty days work on
the streets of said Town or imprison
ment thirty days in the discretion of the
Mayor of said Town.
