One Moro Big Day,
Friday the J7th was one more
big day in Bennettsville. From
early morn to late at night thc
streets were crowd id. They
came too lor pleasure and they
got it. There was entertainment
galore. Even the hand organ
and dancing monkey was here
The Van Anionrg Circus and
Menagerie planted their tents
on the old Ball Ground near the
Episcopal church. Barkhoot's
Carnival Shows had their tents
on Broad street. The very air
was tilled with music and
laughter. There were between
four and live thousand people
in town, an ! while a few could
not find any fun without Jilling
up on "bug juice", Hie general
order was splendid, and thc day
passed off without accident.
Robbery or Mistake!
On Friday last some one took
wy buggy off from thc public
Square, and nono was loft in place
o? it, it looks like a theft. It was a
second hand, open buggy, painted
black, side springs, Dash torn,
spring cushion and had two wren
ches in back of buggy and loose
whip socket. It wes taken to the
country, and i will ho thankful
for any information that will help
mo to find it or tho party who
took it off.
