DEATHS' DOINGS Died at Ids home in Adamsvillc on Sunday morning December 9, 1906, niter a protracted illness, Mr. Daniel J. Odom an old and esteemed citizen of that town ship. He was funernli/.ed at his residence Monday morning by Rev. McKissiclc and the remains laid'to rest with masonic honors in the family cemetery near by. A goodly number of his friends in our town went out and attended the services. * * * Died nt the Baptist parsonage in Clio on Friday last after a short illness, Rev. N. S. Jones, a popular and well known Baptist minister and for the past two months pastor of the chu/.ch at Clio, and who won the hearts of our people in a glorious revival at the Baptist church in our town three years ago, and afterward returned and carried away captive a fair young bride, Miss Lois Ford, daughter of Rev. Rufus Ford, then pastor here. The body was embalmed and taken to Raleigh his old home for burial. Ile leaves a wife and two children. * Died at her home in Red Hill on .Sat urday last Dec. 8th 1906, after a long illness, Mrs Willie Wise hide, wife of Mr. Fdward M. hyde. .She leaves witli her husband four little children, She was a christian member of tile Methodist church and lived up to lier faith.
