DEATHS' DOINGS
Mr. Nelson Quick, the popular
miller at Mr. T D. McCall's Water
Mill, died midden ly on Sunday eve
niug about 5 o'clock, while sitting on
the piazza of his little homo. Ho was
a good, honett citizen, a member of
thu church and an earnest worker -
Ho haves a wife and six children -
the eldest 8 and the youngest less than
one year. Tho remains were taken
up to (Smithville Monday and buried
at Oak Grt/vo church.

Died at the home of Mrs Sparks,
near Blenheim, on Wednesday night
last after a long illness, Dr. R, W.
Hale, a well known citizen ot lower
Brownsville.
The remains were brought up on
Thursday afternoon and laid to rest
at Oak Ridge cemetery with Mason
ic honors, participated in by Marl
boro Lodge of our town and Bruns
Lodge of Parnassus, of which he
he was a beloved member. Jle
leaves one sister and a host of rela
tives. Peace to his ashes.
