Several Light Shocks
Several slight earthquake shocks have
bejn felt in the valley this week, be
ginning with one at ti:os o'clock Wed
nesday evening. There were two more
Wednesday night, and Thursday noon
there wa.s an )th *r. The shocks were
not strong enough to crack walls or
plaster or do other damage, though they
vvert distinctly felt by most persons.

Imperial Water Company No. 1. Loca-
tion of principal place of business,

Notice is iiereby given that at a
regular meeting of the Board of Direc-
tors of Imperial Water Company No. 1,
held on the 3rd day of November, 1903,
an assessment (No. 4), of thirty-five (35)
cents per share was levied upon the sub-
scribed capital stock of the Corporation,
payable immediately to R. D. McPherrin
secretary of said corporation, at its
office in the town of Imperial, county of
San Diego, State of California.
Any stock upon which this nsstss-
ment shall remain unpaid on the Ml>
day of December, 1903, will be delin-
quent and advertised for sale at public
auction, and unless payment is made
before, will be sold at the Company's
office on the 31st day of December, 1903,
at the hour of 10:30 a.m., to pay the
delinquent assessment, together with
the costs of advertising and expenses of
