.An ordinance dividing the propos
ed new county to be called Im
perial County, into a convenient
number of judicial townships,
voting precincts, road and
school districts, defining their re
spective boundaries md desig
nating the names of such dis
tricts; and also dividing said
proposed new county into five
Supervisorial districts and num-
Jbcring said districts.
The Board of Supervisors of the
<C©unty of San Diego, pursuant to the
■provisions of an act of the Legislature
approved March 15th. 1907, and en
titled "An Act to provide for the form
ation, organization and classification of
new counties, for locating the county
-seats, for the election and appointment
of officers, and for the adjustment and
-fulfillment of the rights and obligations
arising between such new counties and
ether counties." do ordain as follows:
Section I. The Judicial township
•of Calexico. In the proposed county of
Imperial, is hereby created and estab
lished, and the boundaries of said town
•ship are hereby fixed and established
-as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of
the range line between ranges 8 and 9
cast, S. B. M. and the boundary line
.between the United States and Mexico,
-and running thence north along said
-range line to its Intersection with the
4th Standard line south, thence east
along said line between townships 16
.and 17 south to the southwest corner
of section 35. T. 1 6 S. , R. 1 4 E. . S. B.
!M , thence north along the west line of
:said section to the N. W. corner there
of, thence east along the north lines of
section 35 and 36, T. 16 S., R. 14

of Silsbee in the proposed county of
Imperial. Is hereby created and estab
lished, and the hour daries of said town
ship are hereby fixed and established

Section 10. The Judicial township
of Laguna, in the proposed county of
Imperial, is hereby created and estab
lished and the boundaries of said town
ship are hereby fixed and established
as follows:
Commencing at the N W corner
of T 15 S, R22 E*. S. B. M,. thence
running east along the township lines
between townships 14 and 15 S to its
intersection with the eastern boundary
of the state of California, thence in a
southwesterly direction along the east
ern boundary of the * tate of California
to a point thereon directly east of the
south line of section 10, T 16 S, R 21
E, thence west to a point on the range
line between ranges 21 and 22 E, or
such line produced, thence north along
said range line to the place of begin
ning.
Section 11. The Judicial township
of Plcacho, in the proposed county of
Imperial, is hereby create}. and estab
lished, and the boundaries of said
township are hereby fixed and estab
lished as follows:
Commencing at the S W corner of
section 31, T 14 S, R22 E. thence
running north along the range line be
tween ranges 21 and 22 E to the N W
corner of section 6. TI3S, R22 E.
thence running east along the township
line between T 12 S and 13 S to the
eastern boundary of the state of Cali
fornia, thence In a southwesterly direc
tion along the eastern boundary of the
state of California to the intersection
of the township line between townships
14 and 15 S and the said state bound
ary line, thence wett along said line be
tween townships 14 and 15 S to the
place or beginning.
Section 12. All ordinances hereto
fore passed establishing, creating and
fixing the boundaries ot the judicial
townships herein in this ordinance men
tioned are hereby repealed and said
judicial townships herein and hereby .
created and established shall consist of
the territory herein In this ordinance
mentioned and of no other territory and
the boundaries of said respective town
shirs shall be as hereby created and
established and any and all ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby re
pealed.
Section 13. The proposed new
county of Imperial county is hereby di
vided into the following election pro- -»
clncts to be named as herein mention
ed and to contain the territory herein
provided for and the .boundaries of said
election precincts shall be as is herein
In this ordinance set forth.
Section 14. Calexlco precinct:
The voting precinct of Calexlco Is
hereby established and created and
the boundaries of said Calexlco voting
precinct shall be the same as the bound
aries of Calexico Judicial township aa
set forth in section 1 of this ordinance.
Section 15. Sllsbee precinct.
The voting precinct of Sllsbee Is
hereby established and created and tha
boundaries of said Silsbee voting pre
cinct shall be the same as the bound
aries of Silsbee Judicial township as *
set forth In section 2 of this ordinance.
Section 16. El Centro precinct.
The voting precinct of El Centro Is
hereby established and created and the
boundaries of said El Centro voting
precinct shall be the same as the
boundaries of El Centro judicial town
ship as set forth in section 3 of this or
dinance.
Section 17. Brawley Precinct.
The voting precinct of Brawley Is
hereby established and created and
the boundaries of said Brawley voting
precinct shall be the same as tha
boundaries of Brawley Judicial town
ship as set forth in section 4 of this
ordinance.
Section 18. Old Beach Precinct.
The voting precinct of Old Beach Is
hereby established and created and
the boundaries of said Old Beach vot
ing precinct shall be the .same as the
boundaries of Old Beach Judicial town
ship as set forth in section 5 of this
ordinance.
• Section 19. Holtville Precinct.
The voting precinct of Holtville is
hereby established and created and
the boundaries of said Holtville voting
precinct shall be the same as the
boundaries of Holtville Judicial town
snip as set forth In section 6 of this
ordinance.
Section 20. Palo Verde Precinct.
The voting precinct of Palo Verde
is hereby established and created and
the boundaries of said Palo Verde vot
ing precinct shall be the same as the
boundaries of Palo Verde Judicial
township as set forth in section 7 of
this ordinance.
Section 21. Hanlon precinct.
The voting precinct of Hanlon Is
hereby established and created and the
boundaries of taid Hanlon voting pre
cinct shall be the same as the bound
aries of Hanlon Judicial township as
set forth in section 8 of this ordinance.
Section 22. Laguna Precinct.
The voting precinct of Laguna is
hereby established and created and
the boundaries of said Laguna voting
precinct shall be the same as the
boundaries of Laguna Judicial town
ship as set forth in section 9 of this or
dinance.
Section 23. Picacho Preclnqt.
The voting precinct of Picacho is
hereby established and created and the
boundaries of said Picacho voting pre
cinct shall be the same as the bound
aries ot Picacho Judicial township as
set forth In section 10 of this ordinance.
Section 24. Imperial Voting pre
cinct No. 1 shall consist of the follow
ing territory and is bounded and de
scribed as follows:
Sections 17 and 18, south half, sec
tion 7 and 8 and north half of sections
19 and 20 all of township 15 south,
range 14 east.
Section 25. Imperial voting pre
cinct No. 2, shall consist of the follow
leg territory and is bounded and de
scribed as follows:
Commencing at the S W corner of
section 18. T 15 S, R 9 E, S. B. M..
and running thence north along the
range line between ranges 8 and 9
east S. B. M. to the N. W. corner of
T9 S, R 9 E, thence east along the
north line of T 9 S. to the N E corner
