The circuits feeding Ihe three light
ornamental standards and (he single
light ornaineatal standard are to be
enclosed In conduit and brought up
through the Interior of the poles.
The circuits feeding the four light
trolley polu standards shall be car
ried on tho top of tne poles and
brought down to the four lights on
the outside of the trolley pole. The

Article VIII. In case of failure of
sny lamp to operate properly, tha

if the lamp so reported shall not be
placed In regular operation within
twenty-four (24) hours from the
time of notice of failure, then the
City may deduct from the payment
for the current month a sum of
money bearing such proportion to
the monthly price per lamp as Ihe
time nf auch failure bears to the
nuinlwr of hours which said lamps
should operate during that month.
Article IX. The Company shsll
not he held liable In damages for
failure or neglect to supply lighting
service a herein contemplated, in
rasa such failure Is due lo Strike or
accidents beyond Its reasonable con
trol and hsll proceed with du dili
gence In providing for the resump
tion of service.
Article X. AH payments under
this contract shall be muds quarter
ly upon the presentation of a proper
bill by said Company, a other claims
against the City are paid.
Article XI. It is mutually agreed
by and between the parties hereto

contract, result In a net saving to

in contemplated so that equal or
greater amount of actual Illumina

pense for energy, after having made
due and proper allowance for the
fixed chargea on the Increased Invest
