John Mclvor has been suffering
for a week with a crippled hand
and arm, but is reported much
better.

New lorms of applications for
Homestead Entry, Soldier's Ad
ditional Homestead Entry, Desert
Land Entry, or for Timber or
Stone Sworn Statements, Timber
or Stone Final Proofs, and Yearly
Proof in Desert Land cases, have
been adopted, and on and after
March i, 1908, no entries will be
allowed in the class of cases above
mentioned unless executed upon
the new oflicial forms, or upon
forms which are exact duplicates
thereof, both as to wording, ar
rangement, and size. Each of
said forms is a combination of
the several (orms and affidavits
formerly required to be filed in
such cases, and the use thereof
will result in a saving of time,
labor, and expense to the local
land officers, proof taking officers,
and claimants.

Christmas eve the little folks of
the town were delighted with the
Xmas trees at the various chur
ches. On account of the mud many
were kept away from the churches.
The Presbyterian, Methodist and
Baptist churches had beautiful
trees, distributing presents to the
children.
