A largo crowd wai in attendance both days and seemed to enjoy beitg hero although tho weather was quite warm and tho wind blew continuously. A large dining hall had been prepared whcio three good, substantial mcnli were served free to everyone each day, and much has been said in praiso of tho W. R. C. who so successfully managed this important part of the entertainment. Tho court room was ni:ely decorated and comfortably seated whero the crowd assembled twico a day to listen to rousintr, speeches and war experiences from tho old soldiers and fino songs from our best singers, A grand ball was given each evening which was attended largely by thn young folks, while exciting camp fires wcro held for the amusement of those who did not fed disposed to dance. Tho Koglewood Drum Corps and tho Beaver Band furnished excellent music which was onjayed by all, A good feeling prevailed throughout, and when at last tho lime dame for parting all expressed n desire to meet again at the Annual District Reunion which will be held at Beaver in 183G. From Tho Liberal New s : A largo portion of tho credit for tho success of the reunion is accorded to tho Beaver band which was present during the entire time. This is splendid or ganization, composed of both ladies and gentlemen tho best in tho country and they fully attested their ability as musicians in the excellent music furnish ed to our citizens and visitors. Tho band has fifteen instruments and tho performers know how to uso them. Wo all hope to be again favored with a visit from tho Beaver band in tho near fu ture. The agricultural display at tho re union last week was certainly a tplcndtd showing for tnis part of the country. Stevens and Seward couutics, and Beaver county Oklahoma were represented in a manner at onco gratifyng to all and the array of products would do credit to any country on earth. The corn and apples and peaches wcro the most admired, whilo the melons and onions and pota toes and squashes aud wheat and oats and brooincorn and cabbago and beets were objects of much iutcrcst. The dis play was a source of profound satisfacs tion to every citizen of this section who has lived through tho vicissitudes of the past 10 years and who expects to con tinue to make his homn here. Tho Uews deplores tho necessity of wafting words of commiseration to our brotheia and sisters of Boaver who were doubtless stricken with the same afflict ion that played the mischief with so many peoplo hero. Wo aro sorry that our pleasant associations had to be so rudely aud aickeningly ended, and while wo extend sympathy to tho stricken ones we ask that they do not judgo us too harshly in tho matter.
