I Pursuant to notice, on adjourned cem etery meeting; convened at 0. A. II. Hall on Saturday, Nov. 25, 1899, at 3 o'clock p. m. Minutes of former meeting read and approved. Tho secretary reported that black lo cust posts, No. 1, oould bo purchased at 13 cents, and No. 2 at 10 cents oncli, and barbed who at f 5 per 100 pounds, at Englowood. No answer in regard to request for prices from Meade or Liberal. Tho committee on constitution and bj-lawi made their report. Report re ceived and committee discharged, The proposed constitution and bylaws wera first read entire, and then read and adopted by sections, as follows: CONSTITUTION Article 1. 8tctlon 1 The name of this corporation ahull bs "The Dearer Cemrtery Association," anal shall hay fir Its object the fencing, proving up and maintaining of cemetery grounds In the northerns quarter of the northeast quartsr of section :.'.". township -I north, range 2:1 R.O M. The life or this corporation shall be perpetual. Article II. See. 1. The capital stock of this corpora tion shall consist of one hundred shares of the fftlne of one dollar per share. Article 111. All persons of lawful age may become stockholders In this association Women may hold slock hi their own right, ami minors by guardians tr trustees. Article IV. 80. 1 The annual meeting of this aso elation for the election of trustees and the transaction of sueh ether buclneas m may come btfore the association shall bo held at such time and place as the by-laws may direct.' 8ec. 2. The trustees of Hits anaoclatlon shall meet onee each month for the collec tion of subxcrlpllou and the trnnsscilun of such other busluess as may come before Mid board, and snch meeting shall be held nt inch lime and place 11s the by-laws may direct. Article V. Beo. 1 The officers of this association shall be a President, Vice President, Treas urer and Secretary, all of whom shall be residents of Heater township, Oklahoma Territory, aud shall be elected by the llunrd of Trusties. Section 'J. There shall be elected by the qualified electors of tl association, at their annual meeting, Ihre trustees, who shall hold (heir offices until their successors are elected and qualified, Beo. 2. The trustees shall elect annually a President, Vice President Secretary and Treasurer, of which officers the President and Vloe President shall be chosen from the members of the board of truatees, Bso, 8.
