The Beaver schodl is the proud pos sessor of a new Vosc piano which was received last week, and which will be a great factor m our schools from many standpoints. The piano fund was first created through the energy of those able teach ers, Mrs. Lillian Ilauser and Miss Daisy Oylor, now Mrs. Claude Bhm shard, during their work here two years ago. The good work then begun lias since been p'ished by our present teachers and the long-talkcd-of piano has at last become a reality. However, a considerable amount is still duo on this instrument and this indebtedness our efficient corps of tcncheis hope to liquidate. E.icluone, then, should feel it a privilege tj assist whenever possi ble in any move that they may make to accomplish this. Failed to Get Evidence. In the case of the Territory vs. Otto Lohstroh which was heard Monday and in which Lohstroh was charged with mllincr liouor. the Territory failed to ' pnduce evidence sufficient, to convict defendant and the case was dismissed, i JJTJuYJtPiSsaSi on their swrru oath., testified that they never purchased liquor from defendant or anybody else but when they required the stuff found (?) it in hay-stacks, mangers, buggies, sage bushes, utc. Primary Pupils Render Pro gram. The little tots in the primary grades of the city schools, gave a very inter esting program last Friday afternoon, under tiie able-direction of their teach er, Miss Mae Maple. A number of tho patrons of the school and others attended the exer cises and pronounce tho afternoon's entertainment a pleasant one and' a credit to both teacher and pupils. Thoy figure that it will ad vance all farm property for bix miles on either side, so generally that every farmer can take $100 in stock.
