While at Wichita, Kansas, last week attending the Red Cross conference, we took occasion to visit the oil fields ofTowandaand Eldorado, Kansas, and saw one of the great sights of our life. In one well, three eight-inch pipes were gushing out the golden liquid, flowing to capacity, while scores of others were doing the same thing in a slightly smaller degree and hundreds were on the pump, to say nothing of new wells being drilled and brought in every day. A short time before we were there a 20,000-barrel per day gusher was brought in. To one who has never visited an oil field, the sight is well worth going to see. Piles Cured In 6 to 14 Days.
